Kori Leaman-Miller has been fortunate to have lived in Haiti, China, France, and Greece. In the late 1980s, Kori also lived for four years with her husband in El Salvador. In 1991 Leaman-Millers moved to Denver to raise their two boys, and when her youngest started first grade, Kori began teaching in DPS. Twenty-two years later, Kori still delights in working with and learning from inquisitive students and their families. She is beyond excited to join the Valverde family where she will be working as a reading interventionist. When not at school, Kori enjoys traveling, falling asleep while reading, and trying (unsuccessfully) to keep up with her husband on her bike.
Kori Leaman-Miller ha tenido la suerte de haber vivido en Haití, China, Francia y Grecia. A finales de los años 1980, Kori también vivió durante cuatro años con su marido en El Salvador. En 1991, Leaman-Millers se mudó a Denver para criar a sus dos hijos, y cuando el menor comenzó el primer grado, Kori comenzó a enseñar en DPS. Veintidós años después, Kori todavía disfruta trabajando y aprendiendo de estudiantes curiosos y sus familias. Está más que emocionada de unirse a la familia Valverde, donde trabajará como intervencionista de lectura. Cuando no está en la escuela, a Kori le gusta viajar, quedarse dormida mientras lee e intentar (sin éxito) seguir el ritmo de su marido en bicicleta.
