Elly is starting her 8th year at Valverde and her 19th year in education. She taught both 2nd and 6th grade before moving into school leadership. She is from Iowa City, IA and after going to school at the University of Wisconsin she moved to San Diego to start her career in education. She made the move to Colorado in July of 2016 and loves getting to explore this beautiful state with her husband and 2 children. She loves being active, exercising, hiking and spending time with her family and friends!
Elly está comenzando su 8º año en Valverde y su 19º año en educación. Enseñó tanto en segundo como en sexto grado antes de pasar al liderazgo escolar. Ella es de Iowa City, IA y después de ir a la escuela en la Universidad de Wisconsin se mudó a San Diego para comenzar su carrera en educación. Se mudó a Colorado en julio de 2016 y le encanta explorar este hermoso estado con su esposo y sus 2 hijos. ¡Le encanta estar activa, hacer ejercicio, caminar y pasar tiempo con su familia y amigos!

Emily is going into her 10th year at Valverde! She taught ECE and Kindergarten as a teacher, and she loves everything about teaching and learning! She is originally from Tucson, Arizona but has lived in Boston, Tulsa, Panama, Nicaragua and Spain! She loves Denver and when she’s not at Valverde, she’s with her husband, 3 kids, and friends enjoying Colorado! She loves running, baking, arts & crafts, the mountains, traveling, and spicy food!
¡Emily está entrando su décimo año en Valverde! Ella enseñó ECE y Kindergarten como maestra, ¡y le encanta todo lo relacionado con la enseñanza y el aprendizaje! Le encanta Denver y cuando no está en Valverde, ¡está con su esposo, sus 3 hijos y sus amigos disfrutando de Colorado! Le encanta correr, hornear, hacer arte, las montañas, viajar y la comida picante.
