Ms. Christian is starting her 2nd year at Valverde and her 8th year in DPS. She has taught 2nd – 5th grade the last 18 years. She is very excited for 3rd grade, and watching her students’ love of learning grow. Ms. Christian grew up in Memphis, TN, but has lived in Utah and Colorado. When Ms. Christian is not at school, she loves to go walking, explore the mountains, read, and hang out with family.
Ms. Christian está comenzando su segundo año en Valverde y su séptimo año en DPS. Ella ha enseñado de 2do a 5to grado los últimos 18 años. Está muy emocionada por el tercer grado y por ver crecer el amor de sus estudiantes por aprender. Milisegundo. Christian creció en Memphis, TN, pero ha vivido en Utah y Colorado. Cuando la Sra. Christian no está en la escuela, le encanta caminar, explorar las montañas, leer y pasar el rato con la familia.

Cinthia is going into her 8 year at Valverde. She graduated from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor in Elementary Education with endorsement in bilingual and she is trying to continue her education. Cinthia first started working at Valverde as Spanish intervention in the area of Literacy and Math. After she wanted to make a major impact in her community and became a 4th grade teacher, and is currently a third grade teacher . Cinthia loves teaching especially in Spanish and loves to see her student growth and get prepared for the future. She is a proud graduate from Denver Public school. Cinthia va a cumplir 8 años en Valverde.
Se graduó de la Universidad de Nuevo México con una Licenciatura en Educación Primaria con aval en bilingüe y está tratando de continuar su educación. Cinthia comenzó a trabajar en Valverde como intervención en español en el área de alfabetización y matemáticas. Después quiso tener un gran impacto en su comunidad y se convirtió en maestra de cuarto grado, y actualmente es maestra de tercer grado. A Cinthia le encanta enseñar especialmente en español y le encanta ver el crecimiento de sus estudiantes y prepararse para el futuro. Ella es una orgullosa graduada de la escuela pública de Denver.
