3rd & 4th Grade Math Teacher

This is Brittany’s second year with the Valverde Jaguars and 7th year teaching elemantary school math in Southwest Denver. She is beyond excited to teach 3rd and 4th grade math this year and to be able to help her students find the the joy of math and persevering in solving problems. She is originally from Tennessee and loves spending time with her husband Josh and 2 crazy dogs Bosco and Merlin. In her spare time she likes to spend time with family and friends (especially outdoors), cooking, doing yoga, and seeing live music!
Este es el segundo año de Brittany con los Valverde Jaguars y el séptimo año enseñando matemáticas en escuelas primarias en el suroeste de Denver. Está más que emocionada de enseñar matemáticas de 3.º y 4.º grado este año y de poder ayudar a sus alumnos a encontrar el placer de las matemáticas y perseverar en la resolución de problemas. Ella es originaria de Tennessee y le encanta pasar tiempo con su esposo Josh y sus dos perros locos, Bosco y Merlin. En su tiempo libre le gusta pasar tiempo con familiares y amigos (especialmente al aire libre), cocinar, hacer yoga y ver música en vivo.

Ms. Christian is starting her 2nd year at Valverde and her 8th year in DPS. She has taught 2nd – 5th grade the last 18 years. She is very excited for 3rd grade, and watching her students’ love of learning grow. Ms. Christian grew up in Memphis, TN, but has lived in Utah and Colorado. When Ms. Christian is not at school, she loves to go walking, explore the mountains, read, and hang out with family.
Ms. Christian está comenzando su segundo año en Valverde y su séptimo año en DPS. Ella ha enseñado de 2do a 5to grado los últimos 18 años. Está muy emocionada por el tercer grado y por ver crecer el amor de sus estudiantes por aprender. Milisegundo. Christian creció en Memphis, TN, pero ha vivido en Utah y Colorado. Cuando la Sra. Christian no está en la escuela, le encanta caminar, explorar las montañas, leer y pasar el rato con la familia.

Mr. Reinosa is from Colombia. This is his first year at Valverde. He spent the last five years teaching in North Carolina. He has more than 20 years of experience in education teaching in U.S, Brazil and Colombia. He has a B.D in Modern Languages and a Masters in Linguistics. He is pasionate about his family, soccer and education.
El señor Reinosa es de Colombia. Este es su primer año en Valverde. Pasó los últimos cinco años enseñando en Carolina del Norte. Tiene más de 20 años de experiencia en la docencia en educación en Estados Unidos, Brasil y Colombia. Tiene una Licenciatura en Lenguas Modernas y una Maestría en Lingüística. Es un apasionado de su familia, el fútbol y la educación.
