Kristina Barboza is going into her 10th year at Valverde and her 6th year as the Art teacher. She is a Denver native. She has two amazing dauthers that love art as much as she does! She loves providing students a safe space to express themselves through art. When she’s not at Valverde she enjoys spending time with her family, going to museums, listening to music, and gardening.
Kristina Barboza va a su diez año en Valverde y su seis año como maestra de Arte. Ella es nativa de Denver. Le encanta brindarles a los estudiantes un espacio seguro para expresarse a través del arte. Cuando no está en Valverde le gusta pasar tiempo con su familia, ir a museos, escuchar música y hacer jardinería.

Ms Roci is going into her 10th year year at Valverde. Before Valverde, Ms Roci was teaching Music in a bilingual school in the country were she was born: Colombia. Besides enjoying music, singing, teaching music, playing instruments and dancing, Ms Roci is very passionate about spending time outdoors with her family hiking, paddleboarding, camping and traveling. Beach Volley is her favorite sport to actively play all year long. Ms Roci cant wait to keep growing, having fun and learning with all of you.
La Sra. Roci cumple su décimo año en Valverde. Antes de Valverde, la Sra. Roci enseñaba música en una escuela bilingüe en el país donde nació: Colombia. Además de disfrutar de la música, cantar, enseñar música, tocar instrumentos y bailar, a la Sra. Roci le apasiona pasar tiempo al aire libre con su familia haciendo caminatas, remando, acampando y viajando. Beach Volley es su deporte favorito para jugar activamente durante todo el año. La Sra. Roci no puede esperar para seguir creciendo, divirtiéndose y aprendiendo con todos ustedes.
Julie is starting her 14th year with DPS and her 2nd year at Valverde.. Julie grew up in Minnesota and is a huge Vikings fan!!! Skol! Julie loves havung music in her lessons. She has a 12 year old son, Matthew, who attends Kent Denver School. Julie also loves bulldogs and has 3 of them, Mike, Mabel and Mo who all came to her through rescues.. Julie está comenzando su año número 14 con DPS y su segundo año en Valverde.
¡Julie creció en Minnesota y es una gran fanática de los Vikings! Skol! A Julie le encanta tener música en sus lecciones. Tiene un hijo de 12 años, Matthew, que asiste a la escuela Kent Denver.
