Ana is a mom to two girls. She is a Spain to Colorado transplant, and loves the outdoors and nature. When she is not at work, she enjoys hiking with her dog, reading and traveling. She has been teaching since 2008 in Denver Public Schools and loving every minute of it!
Ana es mamá de dos niñas. Se crió en España, pero Colorado se convirtió en su hogar desde 2008. Ella disfruta del aire libre y la naturaleza. Cuando no está trabajando, le encanta pasear por la montaña con su perrito, leer y viajar. Ha estado enseñando desde 2008 en las Escuelas Públicas de Denver y le encanta cada minuto!

Lily is beginning her 2nd year at Valverde Elementary. She is originally from Florida and moved to Colorado in 2020 to obtain a master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education at the University of Denver. She loves live music, being in the mountains, animals, and working with kids.
Lily está comenzando su primer año en la primaria Valverde. Ella es originaria de Florida y se mudó a Colorado en 2020 para obtener una maestría en Educación Especial para la Primera Infancia en la Universidad de Denver. Caroline is excited to join the Valverde family this year! She was born in Syracuse, New York and moved to Denver in 2015. Caroline received her Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education from Metropolitan State of Denver. Go Roadrunners! She has spent almost a decade working in the Early Childhood Education field. Caroline has always had great passion for educating 4 year olds because of their incredible imaginations, curiosity and playfulness. In her free time, she loves to spend time hiking, singing, skiing, baking and having fun with her husband, two cats, Fern & Cosmo and her puppy, Maple.

Juliana is beginning her 2nd year at Valverde Elementary. She is a DPS alum and a Colorado native. When she’s not at work, you can find her spending time with her family and enjoying the nature around her. She is excited for another year working with ECE

Marcos is beginning his 7th year as an ECE teacher at Valverde Elementary. He loves working with young children. Marcos is originally from the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico, but he moved to Denver 2001. He is married and has two children. Marcos likes to spend time with his family and friends. He also enjoys playing soccer the exploring the outdoors (fishing, camping, hiking and traveling).
Marcos está comenzando su septimo año como maestro de ECE en la Primaria Valverde. Le encanta trabajar con niños pequeños. Marcos es originario de la península de Yucatán en México, pero se mudó a Denver en 2001. Está casado y tiene dos hijos. A Marcos le gusta pasar tiempo con su familia y amigos. También le gusta jugar al fútbol y explorar el aire libre (pesca, campamento, caminatas y viajes).

Anna is a DPS alum. She is a Colorado native and enjoys hiking, biking, and skiing with friends. Anna enjoys trying new foods and dancing . She fell in love with Valverde and it has become home.
Anna es alumna de DPS. Ella es nativa de Colorado y le gusta caminar, andar en bicicleta y esquiar con amigos. A Anna le gusta probar nuevas comidas y bailar. Se enamoró de Valverde y se ha convertido en su hogar.
