Volunteer Services

Schools and volunteers should use the "Volunteer Background Check Portal" button to access the Sterling Volunteer link to begin the background check process. School volunteer coordinators can refer to the Denver Public Schools Sterling Volunteers Guide for help or contact Volunteer Services. If you receive a "Good Deed Code" request during submission, you're using the wrong link and should update it with the one in the guide.
To volunteer with DPS, please start our application. If you're already connected to a school or know what school you want to support, contact the School Volunteer Coordinator.
Volunteer Opportunities
DPS offers volunteer opportunities for community members and employees to connect with students and schools. For more details, contact Volunteer Services. All opportunities require a background check unless stated otherwise.
